| Yes there are news... although not so understandable: Jon Rosten wrote the 3rd of January: CITAZIONE Advanced notice of a change for the maidenhead event on 15th and 16th March 2014.
We will be moving to a much better and bigger venue following an approach to host the event by their manager Ian Puser, who is a subbuteo collector and enthusiast from yateley who came to the maidenhead fair in 2010.
further details to follow in due course but essentially it is likely the structure will be:-
saturday morning - subbuteo collectors fair
saturday afternoon - Maidenhead Old Subbuteo Festival Italian Players tournament - 24 player tournament made up mainly of our weekend italian visitors. figures to be used will be the players own - £15 per player entry
sunday all day - 48 player old subbuteo tournament - £25 per player entry. playing figures to be supplied
i hope this appeals to all of you and if you are interested please register your interest here on this thread. and the 4th: CITAZIONE having already consulted with contacts in italy it seems the structure would not appeal to them so i would now propose:-
saturday - a new 48 player tournament which would run all day
sunday - fair in the orning and 36 or 48 player tournament in the afternoon By the way, I'm looking for someone going to split the hotel fare... |
