CITAZIONE (thefingerismakingmeflick @ 7/2/2013, 09:13)

It looks the flicks are not so "regular"... hoping no Subbuteo rule keeper sees these pictures! :D

Agreed - there is plenty of evidence of dodgy flicking techniques!

However, when Subbuteo makes Bryan Robson react like this, you could argue the green light of Oldsubbuteo burned brightly in this game!

So how would you rate this event using the old-subbuteometer?

Rules - 1 out of 10 (they recognised the shooting line at least!)
Equipment - 7 out of 10 (dodgy pitch and goals not in place)
Fun/Friendship - 8 out of 10 (good humoured banter, although Robbo a bit enthusiastic with his arguing with the ref...)
Shining green eyes - 7 out of 10 (you could detect more than a glimmer!)

So I make it 23/40 = 57.5%

Conversely, I have played some games of subbuteo (thankfully very infrequently) that have scored as follows:

Rules - 10 out of 10
Equipment - 10 out of 10
Fun/Friendship - 1 out of 10 (I suspect my opponent just wants to beat me and cast me aside!)
Shining green eyes - 1 out of 10 (the light in my opponent's eyes is dim, if not extinguished!)

Total score 22/40 - 55%

well said Steve, and in those "beautiful" games, sometimes equipment wouldn't score 10/10 in oldsubbuteo terms...
