Yes, I remember, great video
…and beautiful ref. 135: simply and fascinating … and I am an admirer of a great man like Sir Tom Finney (R.I.P.)
How much passion green Subbuteo in your beautiful work!

OK- The game was played... :B):

Don Bosco Cinecittą played by Fabio Bertola
Cava dei Selci played by Jim Westwood
Referee/photographer/reporter/producer/editor/spectator - thefingerismakingmeflick

...and an action-packed match it was...with Cava dei Selci going 2-0 up by halftime, and stout resistance shown by Don Bosco Cinecittą as they fought back.

Unfortunately the final whilst blew before they could equalise and the game finished: Don Bosco Cinecittą 1 - 2 Cava dei Selci

S'fortunato Don Bosco!

There is some photo and video footage of this famous match to upload, and hopefully this will be done at the weekend.

Don't worry: Don Bosco Cinecittą was born to suffer struggling
The score 1-2 with Cava dei Selci was the same as the 1988-89 season :woot:
Your match was a good birthday gift, thanks!

Me too :D
I was very at ease playing Don Bosco, as the club I played for more than 20 years had similar records and fortunes. And playing with Jim Forfoxsake is every time an enjoyable experience.
Beside this match, the whole Sunday at the Stadium of Fingers has been another of those unforgettable days. Playing with Pitch Cars (a mix between Subbuteo and beach marble races) in the morning and Subbuteo in the afternoon, banter, old and new friendships, tv replays, food...what else?
And when at the moment to say goodbye and thanks to the master, he replied that all this happened because of you, well... I was speechless... And still I am.

Later in the day, I had the opportunity to play Ivan (Fabio's son) in the Stadium of Fingers.

...this was also a very enjoyable game, with a couple of cracking goals!

Ivan, taking a free kick... :B):

The equaliser - a really strange chip shot! :o:
