OK - I've thrown the pitch into a sink of bleached water :cry:

and it's slowly losing it's colour (been in the sink for 48 hours! :o:

)
Hopefully I will be able to dye this 'cobblestone grey' when the colour eventually drains...

In the meantime, here's a couple of pics of progress.

...and here is the bleached pitch! It's lost a couple of inches in width...

I'll give the grey dye a go next week.

The pitch has gone very dark green rather than grey! :wacko:

...and the loss of width suggests a re-think...

However, other activity has broken out over the last week or so.

First off, Vatican City have been spotted having a kick-about!

Also, a couple of statues have been erected...

A Venetian view...

Also, I've dismantled the pitch to make way for the final project (The Seaside Pitch).

I noticed when I put the pieces together, it made for quite a unique skyline!
